Fall Training For Junior & Senior High Athletes
October 20th to December 20th
At Hines Park, Monday, Wednesday & Friday
Cost: $135.00 per athlete
Training is through December, outdoors in cold weather conditions. We will have some indoor opportunities in December.
Putting in a base like this to get ready for the indoor
season will transform your indoor season from any you have experienced in the
past. This additional training will prevent injury, increase conditioning
beyond what you have experienced in any other pre-season training.

This indoor season we will have several area athletes competing in the hepthatlon and decathlon. For the boys the indoor event is the heptathlon and the events are contested are different than an outdoor decathlon, usually you don't pole vault or run the 1500 meters, usually just the 800 or 1000 meters for example.
We have SEVERAL talented male and female athletes in our group who want to train and learn the events. The instruction for the various events will not start until January of this year, but regardless of the age group, if you are considering doing the decathlon or heptathlon you should seriously consider training with the 11th and 12th grade kids in our Fall Pre-Season group you see at the left. I recommend only 8th grade and above consider this for the boys and 9th grade and above for the girls unless you are female who already has considerable skills in the hurdles, high jump and long jump AND you have the basics of good sprinting technique down.
If you are considering doing the January training with us., you WILL have to take classes in the various events first in each event. Those classes are $125.00 for team members for 2-3 sessions in each of the following: High Jump, Long Jump, Shot put, and Hurdles. If you have already worked with me (Gary) in these events, there is no charge for the events you have already received instruction on.
